The most important key points of the economy is the banking sector. The financial support of other sectors within the economy is realized through the banking sector. In today's economies, where the economic structure is generally based on monetary values, there are great relations between the banking sector and all sectors. Development levels of the economy can be easily determined by the banking sector data. It is useful to look at the data of the banking sector and the relations of other sectors with the banking sector in order to understand how much a region's economy has developed or to what extent it has a large economy. While analyzing the economic data, the economic relations between the sectors and banks help to obtain great ideas about the economic situation of the region.
The economy of the province of Muş, which is included in the study, shows an agriculture-based structure in accordance with the general situation of the region. Due to the fact that it is located in the Eastern Anatolia region, where seasonal conditions are difficult, agricultural activities can only be carried out in certain periods. For this reason, it should be active in other sectors besides the agricultural sector. There are also livestock and industrial sectors following the agricultural sector.
In the light of this information, the main purpose of the study is the change in the economic situation of Muş in recent years. Within this framework, the economic relations of the sectors operating in the province of Muş with the banking sector have been examined on a yearly basis and the relationship between them has been evaluated with a comparative analysis. The data obtained are secondary data and obtained from monthly statistical bulletins published on the official website of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA). Sectoral bank loan data between 2010 and 2018 were evaluated in December for the end of the year. At the same time, the economic developments of the province of Muş from December 2010 to December 2018 were tried to be demonstrated. According to the results of the study, the sector with the highest level of relationship with the banking sector is the agriculture and livestock sector
