Abstract


INVESTIGATION OF GENDER INEQUALITY OF COUNTRIES WITH LOW HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

The aim of the study is to examine gender inequality in countries with low levels of human development based on various dimensions (labor force participation, economic leadership, political leadership, education, health and graduation rates). The universe of research; It consists of 23 countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Chad, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guinea, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Syria, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zimbabwe. The sample of the study is ten countries (Burundi, Burkina Faso, Chad, Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Yemen) with the lowest level of human development. In the countries covered in the study, ıt was concluded that gender inequality has increased in political leadership, labor force participation, economic leadership and education dimensions.
