Özet

Social entrepreneurship is a type of entrepreneurship that prefers to offer socially comprehensive solutions and operates with non-profit or sustainable profit models. These university-based entrepreneurs represent a key target audience because they represent both young dynamism and future leaders. This article explores the characteristics of social entrepreneurship at the university under consideration. The research performance was conducted on a total of 202 students studying at the Faculty of Applied Sciences at Necmettin Erbakan University. Analysis of the data obtained from the research reveals that education is the most influential factor in the emergence of social entrepreneurship, while family income is also quite important.
