Özet

This research aims to reveal the innovative literacy and digital literacy (to be defined as diginovative) awareness of prospective engineers and to put forward a comprehensive perspective. The study sample consisted of students at Kocaeli University.  To collect data in the study, the innovative literacy scale, the validity and reliability of which were established by Yüksel et al. (2023), and the digital literacy scale created by NG (2012) and adapted into Turkish by Üstündağ et al. (2017) were administered electronically as a questionnaire. This study is important because it reveals the competencies of the digital literacy of prospective engineers. Additionally, it will contribute to the field by providing a comprehensive literature review.  The findings show that the digital literacy skills of prospective engineers are generally sufficient. It is recommended that prospective engineers have a high level of digitalisation literacy to succeed in their profession
