Transhümanist Bir Bellek Rejimi Olarak Ağ Bilinci: Ramez Naam’ın Nexus Romanında Kolektif Kimliğin Dönüşümü

Bu makale, Ramez Naam'ın Nexus romanını Maurice Halbwachs'in kolektif bellek kuramı çerçevesinde inceleyerek transhümanist teknolojinin kolektif bellek ve kimlik üzerindeki etkilerini sorgular. Halbwachs'e göre bellek, bireysel değil toplumsal bir olgudur; sosyal çerçeveler (cadres sociaux) içinde şekillenir ve sembolik iletişim yoluyla paylaşılır. Nexus romanı ise bu metaforik çerçeveleri nanoteknoloji temelli nörolojik bir ağa dönüştürerek kolektif belleği radikalleştirir. Nexus-5 adlı nanoteknoloji sayesinde zihinler doğrudan birbirine bağlanır ve bireysel anılar anında kolektif bir akışa katılır. Bu süreçte öznenin sınırları genişler ve kolektif kimlik, milyonlarca zihnin paylaşılan hafızası üzerinden yeniden tanımlanır. Böylece Halbwachs'in teorisindeki sembolik paylaşım sınırı aşılarak fizyolojik ve gerçek zamanlı bir bellek rejimi ortaya çıkar. Makale, ağ bilincini bir bellek rejimi olarak analiz ederken transhümanist teknolojilerin hem özgürleştirici hem de totaliter potansiyellerini inceler; ancak asıl vurgu, bu ikiliğin teknolojinin doğasından değil bellek rejimlerinin toplumsal organizasyonundan kaynaklandığı argümanıdır. Çalışma, bu ikilemin ötesine geçmek için bellek rejimlerinin doğru yönetiminin gerekliliğini savunur. Sonuç olarak makale, Halbwachs’in toplumsal hafıza kuramını 21. yüzyıl nöroteknolojik gelişmeleri bağlamında yeniden düşünerek geleceğin bellek rejimlerini bellek politikaları, güç ilişkileri ve kolektif özneleşme süreçleri üzerinden ele alan eleştirel bir perspektif geliştirir.
