Spor Yapan ve Yapmayan Grupları Ayırt Etmede Duygu Odaklı Yapıların İncelenmesi

Özet

Bu çalışmada profesyonel sporcu olmayan grupta, spor yapmaya ve yapmamaya etki eden olgular olarak olumlu - olumsuz duygulanımın, duygusal öz farkındalığın, duygusal zekanın, empatinin, aleksitiminin, kaygının, depresyonun, benlik saygısının ve sosyo - demografik değişkenlerin birlikte alınarak incelenmesi düşünülmüştür. Böylece değişkenlerin çoklu etkisinin birlikte incelenerek, sporcu olmayan grupta spor yapmaya ve yapmamaya etki eden olguların ayırt edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmaya 18-56 yaşları (ort. = 23,92, s = 6,25) arasında çevrimiçi örneklemden profesyonel sporcu olmayan toplam 305 kişi katılmıştır. Katılımcılara sosyo-demografik bilgi formu, A Duygusal Öz Farkındalık Ölçeği-10, Olumlu ve Olumsuz Duygu Ölçeği, Durumluluk-Sürekli Kaygı Ölçeği, Hastane Anksiyete ve Depresyon Ölçeği, Schutte Duygusal Zeka Ölçeği, Empati Ölçeği, A Aleksitimi Ölçeği-28 ve Coopersmith Benlik Saygısı Envanteri uygulanmıştır. Spor yapan ve spor yapmayan grupların yordanması ikili lojistik regresyon analizi kullanılarak iki farklı modelle incelenmiştir. Sonuçlara göre Olumlu ve Olumsuz Duygu Ölçeği’nin hem Olumlu hem Olumsuz Duygu Alt Boyutu, Durumluluk Kaygı Ölçeği, Hastane Ankisyete ve Depresyon Ölçeği Depresyon Alt Boyutu ve sosyo-demografik değişken olarak eğitim durumu, spor yapan ve spor yapmayan grupların yordanmasında etkili olmuştur. Bu değişkenlerle iki modelde toplam varyansın %20,3'ü ve %20,8'inin açıklandığı görülmüştür. Spor yapan ve spor yapmayan grupların doğru sınıflama oranları ise iki modelde %69,2 ve %69,5 olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Sonuçlar spor yapan ve spor yapmayan grupların ayırt edilmesinde etkili olan (ve olmayan) duygu odaklı yapıların belirlenmesine katkı sağlamıştır.
