Yapay Zekânın Faydaları Ve Zararları Üzerine Bir Değerlendirme

Özet

Yapay zekâ (YZ) ve karmaşık hale gelen algoritmalar hayatımızı her zamankinden daha fazla etkilemektedir. Özellikle bilgisayar donanımındaki gelişmeler nedeniyle, bazı YZ algoritmaları şimdiden uzman insanlardan daha iyi performans göstermektedir. Yapay zekâ dünyamızı değiştirmektedir. Yoksa bunu çoktan yaptı mı? Pek çok insan yapay zekâ teknolojisinin durumunu bilmemektedir.  Bazıları için, YZ denilen kavram bir gelecek vizyonu iken bazıları da ne olduğu ve ne işe yaradığı hakkında hiç bir fikre sahip değildir. Gerçekte ise YZ günümüzde günlük hayatın pek çok alanında artık yer edinmiş durumdadır. Uygulama alanları büyümeye devam ederek, YZ performansı artmaktadır. Özellikle, ilgili algoritmaların kendilerini daha da büyük ölçüde insanüstü bir seviyeye kadar optimize etmeleri beklenmektedir. Bu teknolojik ilerlemenin bizi tarihte eşi benzeri görülmemiş etik zorluklarla karşı karşıya bırakması muhtemeldir. Oldukça az sayıda uzman, YZ'nin küresel fırsatlara ek olarak, örneğin uzun süredir hafife alınan nükleer teknolojiyi aşarak küresel riskler de oluşturduğu görüşündedir. Bu çalışmada, YZ tanımlanıp, hangi alanlarda kullanıldığı, hangi faydaları ve riskleri barındırıldığı açıklamaya çalışılacaktır.
