In the research, the visuals of the winged sun disks, which the civilizations that lived in Egypt, the Levant, Mesopotamia, Anatolia and Cyprus drew, engraved or created with the relief technique, on different materials and forms, were analyzed based on the descriptions made by the researcher. As a result of the analyzes made, it was aimed to examine them categorically. It is important to examine the visual and structural aspects of winged sun disks, in contrast to the archaeological studies conducted on them. The universe of the research is formed by winged sun disks, while the sample representing this universe consists of winged sun disks worked on different materials in various forms and techniques, found in the collection of the British Museum. Through an interpretive qualitative research method, the winged sun disks were examined through iconographic and content analysis to create categories. Both iconographic and content analysis techniques were used to establish categorization. Additionally, the visual images comprising the sample were analysed using theÖzet
