Abstract

Violence against women is a universal problem and the most brutal example of gender discrimination. Woman are often
exposed to violence by the men they are related. Violence against women in this century has increased significantly. We all
feel the existence of violence against woman, which has an increasing impact day by day. Moreover, its negative consequences
are also quite glaring. Generally, efforts to eliminate this problem are very limited, as violence usually occurs within the family,
which is perceived as a private issue. Because of its complex nature, there is no concrete solution for the elimination of violence
against women. It is important to study violence against women, to understand it and to conduct regular and systematic studies
to determine what needs to be done to resolve this issue.
This work is aimed at providing explanations for the causes of violence against women, the factors that strengthen the women's
struggle against violence, the negative effects of violence on women and social life. Moreover suggestions for resolving this
problem, and creating greater awareness in society regarding this issue.
