INTEGRATION OF ILLUSTRATION ART AND DESIGN AND SPACE DESIGN

Abstract

With illustration, the artist can visualize what they imagine and a work of art emerges. Used in different fields, illustration finds a place in every field of design. It is a branch of art used in different functions by integrating with interior architecture, graphic design, fashion and textile, animation, etc. Although the application methods are different, the resulting works create different impressions on the users according to the character, naturalness, or graphic effect of the line. In this study, the relationship between illustration, graphic design, and space design is examined and the illustrations created in cooperation between Yalova University Faculty of Art and Design and Altınova Municipality are examined. These illustrations were designed to be used in areas such as product packaging and space design. Graphic designs and illustrations were designed by the faculty members of the relevant university. As a result, the continuity of the products created by the interdisciplinary cooperation of different branches of art and design, and the positive effects of the cooperation between universities and public institutions in terms of design have been observed
