Cultural tourism covers both historical and current issues, and has a broad typology. Visual arts, handicrafts, performing arts, special interest activities, cultural and art festivals, local and international events, art venues are important sources of cultural tourism. Art and culture cannot be considered separately from each other. In this context, it is not wrong to state that the concept of art tourism has emerged as a sub-topic in cultural tourism.
Cartoon art with a sense of humor, offers cultural richness related to society, in addition to its visuality. Cartoon is a universal art branch that mirrors the lives of the people. In this study, the importance of Turhan Selçuk Cartoon House and and International Turhan Selçuk Cartoon Competition in Milas were examined in terms of art tourism. In this research, the necessary data about the subject were obtained by scanning related sources, examining internet web bases, on-site observation, and semi-structured questions directed to the manager, results and suggestions were made
