Abstract

Turkey applies especially to migrants and particularly the Syrians open-door policy in recent years and accepts them. Following
this acceptance, services have been provided to meet the basic needs of the Syrians and then measures have been taken
especially by the local authorities to provide education, sports, socialization and living on humanitarian conditions. With this
study, it is aimed to determine what services are offered to the Syrians and in particular the sportive services. An examination
of an area that provides socialization, such as sports, that will reduce the adverse psychological effects experienced by
individuals of all ages with the event of migration and contribute to individuals' becoming healthier are of importance in terms
of the services provided to the Syrians. This study has been carried out with the method of document examination in accordance
with qualitative research technique. Relevant documents have been reached through internet sites of relevant institutions and
organizations and the sports services offered to the Syrians have been determined. In addition, it has been tried to reach
information about sports services offered by institutions and organizations by reviewing the literature on the Syrians. As a
result of the study, in which the services provided to the Syrians have been studied in sports, sportive projects produced by the
related institutions, pieces of training provided in sports branches, provision of sports materials, special tournaments in which
teams include only Syrians and activities for socializing have been determined.
