In this research, "Attitude Towards Sport" developed by Koçak (2014) was used. The scale is a 5-point Likert-type scale consisting of 22 items. Scale; the total of the three subcategories consisting of psychosocial development (12 questions), physical development (6 questions) and mental development (4 questions) and total of these three subcategories. Mann-Whitney U Test was used in the analyzes performed according to gender and sport situation variables after descriptive statistical procedures (frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation) were made in SPSS 24.0 package program. Meaning level is taken as 0.05. The mean scores of the students' attitudes towards the sports were found to be high (4,14 ± 0,5). There was no statistically significant difference in psychosocial development, physical development and total scores in the Mann-Whitney U Test results (p <0.05), but there was a statistically significant difference between the attitudes towards the sports according to gender variables (p <0.05) ). According to Mann-Whitney U test results, there was no statistically significant difference in psychosocial development, physical development, mental development and total scores according to the students' sport situation variable (p> 0.05). As a result, it was found that the attitudes of the students who choose the courses that the Department of Physical Education and Sports opened as University Elective Course (ÜSD) have high attitudes towards the sports. Although there was no statistically significant difference between the attitude scores of the students according to the sporting status variable and the attitude scores towards the sport, there was a statistically significant difference only in the mental development sub - dimension according to the gender variable (p <0,05).
