In this study, it is aimed to reveal the views of the teachers about factors that may affect the students' mathematical success and possible solutions. The sample of the study consisted of 22 teachers, 14 of which were mathematics and 8 of them were from other branches. Data were collected by semi-structured interview and analyzed by content analysis. According to the results obtained from the analysis, the factors affecting the mathematical success were combined in nine main themes: student, family, teacher, curriculum, learning environment, school type, out-of-school auxiliary courses, time allocated to learning, technology. In addition, teachers have made suggestions such as researching the factors causing failure, creating a mathematical basis, increasing the school-student-parent cooperation, reviewing the curriculum, giving the necessary seminars to the teachers, developing the teachers themselves, using of the visual materials and making the learning environment suitable
