EVALUATION OF SUPPORT EDUCATION SERVICES PROVIDED FOR STUDENTS WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENT ACCORDING TO THE OPINIONS OF TEACHERS

This study, it is aimed to evaluate the support education services given to students with hearing impairment according to the opinions of teachers. The population of the study consists of teachers working in primary and secondary schools in Isparta. The sample of the study consists of a total of 35 teachers (19 female and 16 male) from the twenty schools that make up the universe and agreed to participate voluntarily. In the process of data collection, a Likert-type questionnaire developed by the researcher was used. The reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was calculated as 0.822. The data were analyzed by using the SPSS program and frequency and percentage analysis were used.
At the end of the research, the teachers did not receive adequate training in support education during their undergraduate education, however, they attended enough courses and seminars about support education in their professional life, examined the legislation on support education, they were inadequate in the implementation of individualized education program in support education, and they attached importance to measurement and evaluation processes of inclusion students. , assessment and evaluation in accordance with the personal characteristics of students, they have enough information about the methods and techniques used in mainstreaming education, as well as in the mainstreaming and support training room was found to cooperate with school stakeholders.
