Abstract

In the literature, relationships between variables can be measured by effect coefficients according to some scale types. Therefore, when one variable is dependent on the relationship between 2 variables and the other variable is considered independently, the effective coefficient of the independent variable on the other dependent variable can be calculated. On the contrary, the effective coefficient of the independent variable on the dependent variable is determined as the effective coefficient of the dependent variable. In this sense, depending on the nature of the data (scale types), the relationships and effects between variables can be determined by determining the relationship and impact coefficients. In this study, imaginary data of 4 variables and 4 variables suitable for 5-point Likert ratio scale were created. In the study, Somers'd relation coefficient was used to determining the relationships and effects between the variables because the data are proportional, intermittent, and suitable for the ordinal scale. The first aim of the employee is to show that the relationship structures between variables that belong to a certain scale of data can be measured by the Dematel method. The second aim of the research is to show the relationship between the relationship and effect coefficients according to the quality of the data and to determine the completion levels of the variables accordingly, and to determine the relational structure as an effective or affected variable in the relational structure Dematel and effect coefficients method. According to the findings, it was determined that the quantities determined by both methods were consistent with each other within the framework of ranking and proportional proximity to each other. Therefore, the evaluations determined by both methods can be provided by the order and proportionality of the quantities
