THE FACTORS EFFECTING THE CUSTOMERS' IDEA OF HAVING INSURANCE FROM THE AGENT'S STAFF POINT OF VIEW: A RESEARCH IN THE PROVINCE OF SİVAS

Insurance companies generally perform the function of collecting Premiums before the risk has yet arisen and making the payment of claims when there is a risk. For this reason, people benefit from the services of insurance companies in order to compensate their losses in theevent of damage to their assets. In our country, insurance is classified in two groups as life andnon-life branches. Car insurance is a subset of thenon-life insurance branch and is reflected in thestatistics as the most well-known branch in our country.
In this study, in 2016, the factors that affect the customer's thinking about car insurance were tried to be determined by the point of view of the technical personnel working in the insurance broker soperating in Sivas province and registered in the Odalar Stock Exchange of Turkey. The data used in there search were obtained from selected subjects by "easysampling" method using questionnaire technique. SPSS 22 package program was used to analyze the obtained data. In the analysis of the data; frequency, percentage, standard deviation and arithmetic meantech niques. Inaddition, significance analysis techniques such as Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskal Wallis were used for the analysis of the obtained data.
As a result of thestudy, it has been determined that the customers pay attention first to the insurance price of the insurance company and then to the insurance companies' attitude towards the damage and repayment
