Since the beginning of the Internet revolution in the 2000s, traditional media (newspapers, magazines, television, radio) are looking for areas of protection against the increasing power of the new media. The instinct of traditional media to adapt to innovation on the one hand, and to preserve its existence on the other, presents us with a dichotomous media structure. This study is aimed to conceptually discuss the concept of "dichotomy" of this transformation/contradiction. In the research, the news on the websites of Hürriyet and Cumhuriyet newspapers was subjected to content analysis, and a comparison was made between the news in the printed copies of these newspapers and the news published on the websites. As a result, it has been observed that the titles and contents of the paper copies of the newspapers were updated and renewed in a short time on the websites, and many of them either remained in the background or were completely removed from the website in the following hours
