Özet

Sosyal sürdürülebilirlik çalışanlar için adil, destekleyici bir iş ortamının oluşturulmasını sağlayarak “çalışanların bugün ve gelecekte bulundukları yerde çalışmaya devam etmek istemeleri” anlamına gelen çalışan sürdürülebilirliğini ve pozitif iş tutumlarını pozitif yönde etkileyecektir. Bu çalışmada yeni ve çok yönlü bir konu olarak gündeme oturan çalışan sürdürülebilirliği konusuna sosyal sürdürülebilirlik açısından yaklaşılmakta ve literatürde köklü ve önemli bir yeri olan çalışan tutumlarının çalışan sürdürülebilirliği ile ilişkisi kavramsal düzeyde incelenmektedir. Etkili bir işletme olabilmek için sürdürülebilirliğin tüm organizasyona yerleştirilmesi ve kapsamlı bir sürdürülebilirlik stratejisinin geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Sosyal sürdürülebilirlik bu strateji içerisinde önemli bir yere sahiptir ve çalışanlar bu stratejinin önemli bir parçasıdır.
