Abstract

Artificial intelligence permeates every aspect of our lives as one of the powerful symbols of technological progress. In particular, the superiority of artificial intelligence in the analysis also manifests itself in other areas in terms of cognitive abilities. Graphic design, which is one of these areas, has become one of the new fields of study for artificial intelligence systems. Artificial intelligence offers graphic design products such as logo, web design to consumers with specific promises such as fast, cheap, professional, unique. Behind this promise lies the ability to produce countless graphic design products that have not existed before with GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) technology. In this context, the graphic design products revealed by artificial intelligence also raise some questions about creativity, originality and functionality. All these developments have laid the groundwork for questioning the identity of the designer as well as the graphic design products put forward by artificial intelligence. This article aims to evaluate and discuss the relationship between artificial intelligence and graphic design through current developments
