With this research, it was aimed to determine the relationship between the mobbing behaviors faced by teachers working in
secondary schools and the perception of organizational climate and job alienation. The population of the research is 669 teachers
working in 22 secondary schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education in Palandöken district of Erzurum province
in 2017-2018 academic year. The sample of the study consists of 240 teachers determined by simple random sampling method.
In order to collect data in the research; “Personal Information Form” developed by the researcher, “Intimidation Scale”
developed by Tanhan and Çam (2011), “Organizational Climate Scale” and Elma (developed by Yılmaz and Altınkurt (2013)
to Turkish, developed by Steve Hoy and Tarter (1997). "Work Alienation Scale" developed by the company) was used. For
statistical analysis of data; Mean, standard deviation, Pearson Moments Product Correlation Coefficient was used. However, Simple Linear Regression Analysis was conducted to determine the predictive levels of independent variables for dependent
variables. As a result of the research; In terms of mobbing sub-dimensions, the highest average was in the prevention of
professional practices, while the lowest average was in the dimension of attacks on the reputation of the person. When the
distributions regarding organizational climate are examined; In terms of organizational climate sub-dimensions, the highest
average was supportive manager behavior, while the lowest average was found to be negligent teacher behavior. In terms of
job alienation sub-dimensions, the highest average was in the level of alienation to school, while the lowest mean was in the
meaninglessness dimension. It was observed that there were significant relationships between the sub-dimensions of mobbing
scale and organizational climate scale and sub-dimensions of job alienation scale. According to the results of the regression
analysis, the sub-dimensions of the mobbing scale and organizational climate scale significantly predicted the sub-dimensions
of the alienation scale.
