Myths are holy stories that include supernatural beings, great heroes, gods, and cosmic events. As to mythology, science that examines myths.The myths that have been transferred from past to present play an important role in the culture transfer by shedding light on the society's past that they represent. All societies have a mythology that reflects their culture, lifestyle, national values. At this point, Turks are one of the richest civilizations. This cultural wealth in Turk mythology has been an inspiration to a lot of artists and these artists have transferred these mythologic symbols and motifs to their arts of work by themselves comments. Muzaffer AKYOL is also one of these artists. In this essay, we will try to interpret mythologic items and symbols in ten works of art of Muzaffer AKYOL who blends mythologic stories of Anatolia people and nowadays problems, by a bridge over between past and future
