Abstract

Many people in the world leave the country they live in for different reasons and go to different countries. One of these reasons, consists of traveling to different countries, for educational purposes. Especially from neighboring countries, to study, many students come to Turkey. The level of development of the tourism sector in Turkey, these countries students are directed to take tourism education in Turkey. The purpose of this research, these students tourism industry, tourism education and for Turkey, is to determine the perception. In addition, sharing the findings with the relevant stakeholders is among the objectives. In the research, both quantitative and qualitative research techniques were used together. The aim is to reach more comprehensive findings. The research is limited to foreign students studying at the tourism faculty of Aksaray University. Although this situation reduced the probability of generalization, the research produced significant results. Research results show that foreign students adopt tourism sector, tourism education preferences are conscious and they are generally satisfied with the education they receive
