Abstract

In this study, the relationship between the reading rates in provinces of Turkey were examined by car preferences. In this context, the relationship between the various features of the cars and the rate of reading the books was investigated by regression method. The results of the study of the reading rates of an online bookstore with car data from an online sales site were considered as a data set. A preliminary study concluded that data from the online sales site could represent the total number of counts. Variables such as number of cars for sale, number of gasoline / lpg automobiles, number of diesel automobiles, number of automobiles with manual transmission, number of automatic automobiles, number of sedan automobiles, number of hatchback automobiles, number of sports automobiles, number of premium automobiles, 1600 cc cylinder volume below/above were assumed as independent variables, book reading index was assumed as dependent variable and analysis performed. As a result, at 5% significance level it is determined that there is a relation between the book reading rate and; the number of sedan automobile preference, hatchback automobile preference, sports automobile preference, Premium automobile preference, number of automobiles for sale.
