This study was carried out to examine the effect of personnel empowerment practices on organizational commitment on employees in the defence industry in Turkey.
In the first part of the study; the concept of personnel empowerment, the importance of personnel empowerment and its relation with similar concepts have been mentioned. In the second part of the study; the concept of organizational commitments, its importance and types and factors affecting organizationaş commitment have been discussed. In the third part of the study; the results of the practices obtained about the effects of personnel empowerment practices on organizational commitment have been presented. Survey technique was used in the implementation phase of the study. In the conclusion part; the effects of staff empowerment on organizational commitment have been handled, discussed and recommendations have been made.
SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 24 (analysis moment of structures) analysis methods and using the five-point Likert type scale, maximum likelihood calculation methods were applied to the obtained data. As a result of the research, it was concluded that there is a statistically significant relationship between personnel empowerment and organizational commitment of employees.
