In this study, the effect of ethical leadership behaviors on the organizational commitment of employees is investigated. The study aimed to evaluate the ethical leadership perception of individuals working in state hospitals in Tabriz, Iran, and the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational commitment in terms of socio-demographic variables. For this purpose, data were collected with a survey method conducted with 350 people working in state hospitals in Tabriz, Iran. As a result of the findings obtained from the survey results, it has been observed that there is a positive relationship between ethical leadership and organizational commitment. Moreover, the results of the analysis support the relationship between ethical leadership and organizational commitment. In other words, it is seen in this study that ethical leadership positively affects organizational commitment. Also, this result shows that if leaders display ethical behaviors, employees' commitment to their organizations' increases.
