Abstract

Child labour, sexual purpose travel which have to be considered as concept of sexual abuse, which force ethical dimensions of tourism, are important promlems of this age. To adress these isues, basic principles and rules such issues, working ages, working standatdars, have been established at the international level. In accordance with the principles, the International Labuor Organization and other non-profit organizations operate for the protection of children. Another important aspect of the child in tourism is that the child is regarded as a tourist. The aim of the study is to determine the current situation of implementations for tourism wihch intended child workers and child tourists. In this study, tourism ethics and individual right for tourism including children’s right to tourism, problems of child worker and child sex worker were evaluated by using the literature review. As a result of the study, it has been determined that the studies on the protection of children's rights in tourism are at various levels. However, besides the existing international principles and rules, it has been concluded that the basic standards and practices for providing a travel process that does not harm the physical and spiritual integrity of the children involved in tourism activities are not sufficient.
