Abstract

The theoretical analysis of the conceptions of art classified in the History of Turkish Literature can give useful results. It can be observed how Sabahattin Ali's novels, which are within the sense of socialist-realistic art, are compatible with Marxism as the main source of the school. For a holistic look, the examination of the novels of Cengiz Aytmatov in terms of Marxism is important for us to see how the Turkish world is looking at the social-realistic art concept.
The aim of this course is to examine the development of art in the works of Sabahattin Ali and Cengiz Aytmatov. The understanding of how the writers are affected by the renewal of the understanding of art and the renewal of these revelations is a guide in the study of the novels.
Social life in the novels of Sabahattin Ali and Cengiz Aytmatov, Marxist Aesthetics, Marxist Realism (according to Karl Marks and Engels), Contemporary Realism (by Georg Lukacs) will be examined. Within this process, the place of our authors in Marxism will be determined. Thus, the mistakes of changing concepts will be examined.
