Mobbing has recently emerged as a concept known as psychological violence among employees. Mobbing, which can also be expressed as suppression, ignoring, harassment, is an important problem that brings with it many negative consequences.
This problem directly affects the performance of employees. Our thesis study was conducted to determine the relation between mobbing in the workplace and the performance of female employees. In the education sector, many women start having psychological problems caused by mobbing policy they face during their time in the business environment away from their social lives. They feel that they are invaluable. In our thesis study, mobbing, performance and the relationship between them are explained and in addition to this, the this study entrusted on 349 women academicians working in Vakif Universities in Istanbul.
According to the survey conducted, within the given study, how the mobbing process was perceived by female academicians and the effects of job performance in the post-mobbing and the measures taken by SPSS 24 were analyzed and explained in detail.
As a result of this study, it has been determined that mobbing, which is one of the most important reasons of personal productivity and low performance, is defined as an important factor for employee performance.
