FAMILY SOCIAL SUPPORT PROGRAMME AS SUPPLY-ORIENTED SOCIAL WORK

Abstract

Family continues to have important functions such as the realization, maintenance and socialization of family member, and the organization of relationships between parents, children and children. It is important to meet the needs of the family members and to provide access to the resources for the protection of the family. In this study, Programme of Family Social Support (ASDEP) which is implemented by Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services is discussed. It provides guidance and consultancy services in all stages of the process in order to determine the needs of individuals and families for social assistance and social services, to plan and implement social services and social assistance models according to the need, and to utilize other public services such as education, health and employment when necessary ASDEP, which is a supply-oriented program, discusses the process from the planning stage to the implementation phase and the problems in the implementation phase of the program and the solutions to these problems
