The aim of this research is to determine whether the Scientific Attitude levels of the students, studying in the 8th grade of public secondary schools in the provinces of Konya and Mersin, change according to gender, achievement of science and provinces. The research was carried out in the 2018-2019 academic year. The general screening model, which is one of the screening models, was used in this research. The data were collected with the "Scientific Attitude Scale" developed by Moore and Foy (1997) and adapted to Turkish by Demirbaş and Yağbasan (2006). The Scientific Attitude Scale, which is a 5-point Likert Type consisting of 40 items, was used as adapted to Turkish. The Spearman Brown Split-half reliability test correlation of the scale was found 0.84; Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient was 0.76. SPSS program was used in data analysis. Skewness kurtosis values of the findings were examined. According to Skewness and Kurtosis values, it is concluded that the data show normal distribution. Due to the normal distribution of the data and sufficient number of study groups, the differences between groups were analyzed by independent sample t test. According to the research findings, the students' scientific attitude scores were at a moderate level. Scientific attitude scores of female students were found to be statistically significantly higher than male students. No statistically significant relationship was found between students' science achievement and scientific attitude scores. Scientific attitude scores of students living in Mersin province were found to be statistically significantly higher than students in Konya province
