Abstract

For the historical development process of each society, artworks reflecting customs, menstruation, morality and behavior. In
this context, the relationship between art, artists and society constitutes inseparable pieces. Artists have always served as a
cultural bridge in every society with their works. With the example of Mustafa Ayaz, the painter in our article within the scope
of contemporary painting in Turkey, the artist's works were examined to determine his place in Turkish painting art, to question
and explain his thoughts that he wanted to reflect with the colors, symbols and motifs he used in his works. In this study, the
method of scanning the literature and studying works within the qualitative research model technique was used.
