Arabic is one of the languages that have a very rich structure in the context of the meanings of the words. The subjects
contributing to Arabic in this regard are the Quran and the Prophet. It is the hadith of the Prophet if it is called, its place. The
conceptual framework is also among the areas in which the Qur'an and hadiths contribute to Arabic. The Qur'an sometimes
brought original words that were not found in Arabic language and literature, and sometimes expanded the meaning of an
existing word. The word “salaam” is one of the words used in various forms. It means "peace" in some places, "surrender" in
some places, and "trust, safety" in other places. It can be said that the Qur'an is one of the factors that make this explanation to
the word. Already the Qur'an has made Arabic a regional language rather than a regional one. The Quran used the word salam
mostly in the meanings of "well-being, peace, being sure of evil, surrender". The Qur'an has also informed who the salam will
be for in the hereafter. They are believers in the verses of Allah, those who are heavenly, those who are patient against evil,
those who are beautiful in death, those who do not take their religion seriously and compliment simple things, believers who
will attain God, the deeds are given from the right. In this study, concepts such as Islam, Muslim, erasure, selamet related to
the word salam are also mentioned.
