EVALUATION OF PUBLIC POLICIES AND ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES IN THE CONTEXT OF GREEN ECONOMY: TURKEY'S EXAMPLE

Abstract

Rapidly changing production and consumption patterns along with globalization, along with many opportunities, have created
irrecoverable losses. The fact that the economy wants to realize the rapid growth trend causes excessive consumption of
environmental elements, which are accepted as free goods in the economic literature, and triggered the emergence of the green
economy by raising various problems. In the study, in which the concept of the green economy is handled extensively within
the framework of As a result of the efforts of the state to come to life in the green economy, it will create new employment
areas and contribute to the development of the country's economy. public policies, which is important for human life, the
environment and environmental protection policies and regulations are mentioned. As a result of the study, the importance of
policies implemented for sustainability has been revealed. The studies as well as with the regulations for environmental
