ADAPTING THE MULTIDIMENSIONAL STUDENTS’ LIFE SATISFACTION SCALE TO SPORT SCIENCE FACULTY STUDENTS

In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of the students of sports faculty in a state university about life satisfaction in terms of various variables. The data were gathered through a face-to-face questionnaire method from 107 students in different classes in the Faculty of Sports. The Turkish version of Multidimensional Students' Life Satisfaction Scale, developed by Huebner (1994), was used as the data collection tool. The data obtained were analyzed statistically by SPSS 21.0 program. According to the findings of this study, there is no meaningful difference found between life satisfaction levels of the participants depending on gender, age, class and departments. Howewer, there is a meaningful difference that the life satisfaction of the students with divorced families was low and the life satisfaction of the students staying in private dormitories was higher than the students in other groups
