Abstract

In recent years, mobbing is a frequently heard concept in social media and academic studies. Mobbing, which is known as intimidation, harassment, humiliation, intimidation and psychological violence in organizations, is unethical behaviors targeting individuals. Mobbing, which is practiced in organizations, creates a physically, socially and organizationally destructive process on the mobbing victim, his family, organization and society. Mobbing creates psychological, physical and emotional discomfort in the person as a result of the individual's morale, motivation and creativity by destroying the performance of the organization is reduced. Organizations are losing their human resources, which is the most important factor for them, and are coping with economic and social consequences, which affect the economy of the country as well as the organization. The aim of this study is to determine the interaction of mobbing on job performance. The research was conducted with health workers in the public sector of Kütahya province. 156 employees, both white and blue collar, participated in the study on a voluntary basis. According to the findings obtained from the research, the performance levels of the employees are statistically significant negative correlation with perceived mobbing level. This finding is consistent with previous studies.
