Abstract

Palestinian resistance literature is committed to conveying the difficulties and suffering of the Palestinian people to the world through literature. Many resistance writers have lived in occupied Palestinian territories throughout their lives and have always used their pens as weapons in the face of the atrocities of the invaders. In the struggle against the occupation, it is clear that the effect of the pen is wider than that of the weapon. While the weapon is effective on one side of the struggle, the pen affects both sides. These difficulties brought about by censorship and repression and the difficulties of the Palestinian people have been the subject of many articles, stories and poems in the field of literature. Tawfeq Zayyad's poem ‘المستحيل ,, Sameh al-Qasem's poem‘ بطاقة من سوق البطالة and Mahmut Derviş’s many poems has covered these issues. The works written against these issues have an important place in the formation of resistance literature. These difficult conditions and the reactions shown in response to these conditions both in literature and in normal life are considered as the causes. The history of resistance literature emerged in the Palestinian territories is also a history of the Palestinian people's experiences.
