Abstract

The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of health care workers about organizational change by using lean health tools in health institutions and to determine whether these attitudes show a significant difference according to gender, age, title and educational status. Three research questions were sought for this purpose. The analyzes were tested in the SPSS program using the data obtained from the 300 personnel working in a private hospital operating in Bursa. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the attitudes of the employees towards the organizational change in the health institutions where lean health tools were applied were moderate but the resistance to change was high and this resistance stems from the management style. In addition, it was found that there is a significant difference between the attitudes of employees working in health institutions towards organizational change according to gender and age, and there is no significant difference between attitudes towards organizational change according to education and title.
