Abstract

Disability is one of the most important social problems of our time as a multidimensional and complex process affecting a significant part of society. Disability brings many problems and difficulties, regardless of the type of disability. Although these difficulties and problems share common features, it is possible to talk about many negative experiences in different dimensions in different types of disabilities. In this study, social problem experiences of mothers with children with hearing and speech disability were investigated by using qualitative research methods. For this purpose, it is focused on what causes the mothers to experience social problems, what kind of social problems the mothers experience and what are the protective and preventive factors for these problems
