With the rapid development of technology, computers began to take place in all areas of our lives. Businesses even in office
and even in production have begun to take advantage of technology and computers. Especially in the accounting department,
which is the most important unit of companies, computers now have a very important place. Almost all of the businesses now
do accounting work in the accounting environment. Of course, the computer itself is not enough for this work anymore. For
this reason, accounting package programs have been produced excessively and the companies preferred. Thanks to the software
installed on the computer, accounting is much easier. Many transactions of accounting, from record to reporting, can be
performed very quickly and easily. After 2000, with the government started e-transformation applications, many applications
in the accounting field have been transferred to the e-transformation process. With its widespread and active use in our current
lives on the internet, e-transformation processes have accelerated increased. Now, many businesses send documents such as
invoices, waybills and official books in a digital environment and send them to related institutions or individuals. Companies
have now begun to provide significant savings by transferring printed invoices, waybills and ledger applications to the digital
environment. For digital accounting, software companies have produced many packages. Businesses by choosing the one that
suits them, they benefit from these programs. In our study, research has been made on the development of digital accounting,
package programs and e-transformation process.
