Abstract

In the 1960s, world and national policies became more volatile and formed a major turning point. From past to present,
revolution and wars have been integrated and progressed; it is known that the political and philosophical milestones that shape
history have been caused by the consequences of these movements. One of the events of many countries around the world, the
1968 movements, have been experienced as a social awakening that deeply affects cultural life rather than youth movements.
This period formed the period of dreamer idealists by spreading in the dimensions that spread like a wave and affecting each
other with new expansions.
The revolutionary movements of 1968 created a cultural renaissance, particularly by influencing workers, students, artists and
everyone in the middle class. The social stability and struggle that emerged with this rebirth also brought the beginning of the
end in the development of the 1968 revolution events.
In this study; the reflection of the romance of the 68 generations to the social, economic and political changes with art was
examined sometimes analytical and sometimes as a guide. In this context; The generation of 1968 was seen to be divided within
itself, leading to the establishment of an international
rebel dreamer movement against established rules, taboos and dogmas of art. The youth of the 1968 generation, which formed
a turbulent and fragile period; It has played a major role in transforming political and intellectual freedom into artistic freedom.
Youth; discussed political discourses in the face of power, showed resistance to resist in every aspect of art. They fought for
the enlightenment of society by creating modern forms of political art.
