BIBLIOMETRIC INVESTIGATION OF PUBLISHED ARTICLES RELATED TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION: DERGI PARK ACADEMIC EXAMPLE

In this study, it is aimed to classify the publications related to entrepreneurship education. Structural classification of
publications to be obtained; “number of authors”, “distribution of authors according to their rank and title”, “institutions where
authors work”, “year”, “number of keywords”, “distribution of keywords”, “spelling language”, “number of pages”, “number
of local citations”, “number of foreign citations”, “total number of citations” and “sample” were used. The qualitative research
method was determined as the method in this research. Data collection technique was preferred as document technique. The
statistical technique/analysis used in the analysis of the data obtained is content analysis. As a result of the research, some
findings were obtained. ½ of the publications are two and ¼ of them are single authors. In the first place, the title of “Assistant
Professor” was used most. In the second place, the title of “Research Assistant” was used most. The distribution of years of
publications on this subject is made between the years 2009-2019. A maximum of (½) two and (1/3) three keywords were used
in the publications. “Entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship education, entrepreneurship tendency” are the top three most used
keywords. The average number of pages in publications is 17. The total number of domestic citations used in 46 studies was
768 and the average number of domestic citations used was 17. The total number of foreign citations used in publications is
881 and the average is 19. Foreign citations in publications are more than domestic citations. The total number of citations used in publications is 1649, with an average of 36 citations. Target audiences in publications; university students (21), individuals
(10), document (13), individual and university students (1) and high school students (1).
