Internal and external motivation tools are receiving more attention from the human resources department in leading companies
and organizations in modern management themes. It is assumed that there is a relationship between motivation tools and the
workers turnover intention; which is the main focus of this article. In this research, a comparison between different motivation
tools is performed to check their impacts on teachers and their turnover intention. The study sample consists of 230 teachers
working in Turkish and Arabic private schools. Those schools are part of the Istanbul province, Bagcilar region, especially in
the year of 2019.
A questionnaire was carefully designed and used to collect data reflecting the teacher's perception of how their resigning
decision is influenced by different motivation factors. The questionnaire was analyzed using SPSS 22.0 statistical package.
Parametric statistical tests were used to ensure normal distribution of the data.
The research results revealed many differences in the level of impact of the motivation external factors and resigning
mechanisms.
