RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND ORGANIZATIONAL SILENCE

In this study, it has been invastigated whether or not employees perceive their managers as a transformational leader and, the relationship between transformational leadership style and organizational silence varies according to demographic and professional characteristics. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaires from 211 samples working in private health sector hospitals in Istanbul province, a significant and negative relationship was found between transformational leadership and organizational silence, in other words, as organizational transformational leadership increases, organizational silence decreases. As a result of tests conducted to determine transformational leadership perceptions; It was found that men had higher perceptions of transformational leadership than women. According to their professions in the organization, it was found that transformational leadership perceptions of nurses and other health personnel were lower than those of other personnel in the organization. As a result of the tests conducted to determine the perception of organizational silence; There were no significant differences according to demographic characteristics. According to their professions in the organization, the organizational silence perceptions of nurses and other health personnel were found higher than those of other personnel in the organization.
