Abstract

Bibliometric analysis is an effective method for determining the publication policies of academic studies in a country. In this study, computer assisted instruction made in Turkey until 2019 aimed to investigate the environmental themed thesis. In this context, the theses found in the Thesis Center database of the Board of Higher Education in April 2019 were scanned as Computer Assisted Instruction. As a result of the research, 727 theses were reached. 6 theses which are called environmental have been determined. During the examination of the theses, the type of the thesis work, the year of publication, the university and institute, the working group, the consultant titles and the results of the research were chosen as the criteria for review. According to the analysis results of the arguments made on environmental themes in computer-aided education in Turkey is at the graduate level, work is published by a maximum of Gazi University, was done by the Institute for a maximum of Educational Sciences of the research, most Faculty of Education studying science at the department's Science teachers work It was determined that the consultant titles of the researches were at the level of Professor Doctor. In the thesis studies, it has been determined that computer assisted environmental teaching has a positive effect on students' academic success. As a result of computer-aided teaching environmental related thesis in Turkey said to be numerically insufficient. In order to increase the number of academic studies in this field, it may be suggested to direct the graduate students in the relevant departments of the universities.
