Aim: Purpose: The purpose of this study is to determine factors of purchasing preferences from the Ministry of Customs and
Trade. Method: In this research, it was used as a descriptive survey model. The research consists of 500 customers who have
applied to the Ministry of Customs and Trade, Central Anatolia Regional Directorate, Ergazi Purge Operation Directorate and
Ankara Retail Sales Management Directorate, bought vehicles and goods from customs. In this research, the survey method
was used as a data collection tool. Findings: 10% of customers who buy goods and vehicles from customs prefer the auction
method, 90% of custom prefer the retail method. 71,4 % of custom remark to When they purchase a product, they want to
purchase another product. The first reason of purchase product preferance is these products are being sold by government,
second reason is these products are not on the market, the last reasons are these products are quality, cheap, have easy procedure,
have several varieties and it can be pay by installment
