Today, the importance of human resources in the success of organizations is an undeniable fact. There will be different ideas, goals and expectations among multiple people or groups. This makes conflict inevitable. In this study, the concept of conflict, the causes and effects of conflict, organizational conflict types, organizational conflict process and conflict management strategies are examined. A professional executive is responsible for effectively managing conflicts within the organization for the purposes of the organization and aligning differences in the organization with the interests of the organization. The manager should give people the opportunity to express their ideas and be open to communication and fair. For this purpose, a professional manager needs to know the types of conflict, identify the conflict and determine the appropriate strategy and apply it with determination. Conflicts that cannot be managed rationally can negatively affect the motivation of the members of the organization and cause the performance to deteriorate and damage the organization
