Mythology; it is an element that has been continuing since primitive societies through genres such as fairy tales, folk tales, novels and poems. The linking of the origin of everything to mythology is still seen as the most fundamental element in the revitalization of some applications and in explaining the meanings attributed to the facts.
Buket Uzuner is a master writer who masterfully uses mythology in his works and reflects it while he is reflecting it. In this article, it is explained how the characters are symbolized and used with mythical elements by looking at the mythological context of arak Toprak da which is one of the novels of Buket Uzuner.
