Businesses have to work harder to survive in today's competitive conditions. Otherwise, they may have to terminate their
operations against strong competitors. In this context, the success of the business depends on the business performance. Unlike
other production inputs, the strategic human farklı factor has strategic importance in enterprises. Human capital, which shapes
the production process, also plays a key role in the realization of business objectives. Different methods have been developed
to improve business performance in the field of management. Mushroom Management, which is a new concept in the field of
Management and Organization in recent years, is one of them.
The main purpose of this study is to explain the relationship between work performance and mushroom management of
employees. At the same time, the effect of the position of employees on employee performance was investigated. In order to
measure business performance, the statements of Çöl (2008) which were translated into Turkish of Sigler and Pearson (2000)
from Kirkman and Rosen (1999) were used. For mushroom management, Kılıç and Olgun (2017) used 8 items. As a result of
the analysis, it was concluded that employee performance decreased with more intensive application of mushroom
management. In addition, differences were found between the performance of blue-collar and white-collar employees.
