Abstract

All over the World and in Turkey, patients who resort to health care institutions to get a diagnosis, a treatment and rehabilitation health care, may contract health-care-associated infections (HAIs). The HAI rates are known as one of the most important quality indicators. If necessary precautions are not taken or delayed in patients in treatment in hospitals contract HAI, it becomes a medical error. The defects that are caused by disregarding infection control measurements, may be completely harnessed by the hospital or the government. To prevent the medical errors tied to hospital infections, necessary infection control policies must be constituted and inspected
